We are currently seeking applicants for the following position located in Dieppe, New Brunswick:

IS Leader – Transportation

The IS Leader has a key role in guiding the information solutions planning and delivery for their assigned business unit. We are looking for an individual strong leadership skills and a proven track record delivering technology enabled business solutions, ideally complemented with transportation industry experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:


Participates as a member of the Business Leadership Team, providing technology leadership with respect to opportunities to engage technology to better the business
Executes the tactical IT plan for business, participates in 3 year Strategic  IT Plan development, and provides input to the annual budget-executing within that plan
Manages prioritization  and schedule of demand for IT services, having overall responsibility for the customer satisfaction, including projects and technology support services
Member of IT Division Management Team, ensuring needs of business units are understood in setting organizational technology direction
Manages, coaches and develops assigned staff
Brings expertise to internal improvement initiatives

Education and Experience Requirements:


University Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or MBA
Experience leading small to medium sized IT projects following a structured methodology
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a necessity. 

Experience in the following, although not required, would be a definite asset:
Road Transportation Industry Experience with specific knowledge of key business processes.
CITT designation
Microsoft products, especially Visio, Project and PowerPoint
Process improvement experience and training in LEAN or Six Sigma
