Overall Objective and Purpose

The position is responsible for the procurement, installation, coordination, maintenance, and support of all Product infrastructure and software.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate procurement process for all Software Product Development hardware and software needs
• Manage server allocation across Software Product Development
• Manage and support all Software Product Development server hardware (IBM pSeries and  xSeries, DEC Alpha) and third party software (Windows, Websphere, JBoss, Apache, Java, Ant, etc.) set-up, imaging, initial configuration and ongoing troubleshooting
• Act as a single Point of Contact (POC) to manage all Infrastructure activity
• Responsible for all Infrastructure related Green Book content
• Act as liaison between Product and Solutions to ensure Product best practices are implemented within Solutions projects
• Develop and manage common build scripts and PVCS / CVS archives. 
• Perform official archive creation, labeling, building and releasing of Software Product releases
• Utilize and support Product specific ANT build scripts
• Perform official post of release Product software versions to es.gtech.com
• Manage uptime, stability and integrity of Build Server
• Coordinate build schedules across Software Product Development release
• Ensure constant and consistent operations of end to end Development, Integration, QA, System Test and APL environments
• Deployments of Product software as needed for Integration, System and Performance Testing

Education

• Minimum education
  Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Years Experience
  4-6 years of practical system integration or equivalent
• Essential special training requirements
   4-6 years of practical system integration or equivalent 

Other skills
Must be able to apply principles, theories, and concepts within Integration discipline, plus have working knowledge of related fields: Software Engineering, Quality Assurance,  and Systems Engineering. Must have working, proven knowledge of legacy and new technology platforms in use at GTECH (I.E. - AlphaGols, Pro:Sys, Video) - Must have a proficient understanding of ES products and components.  Must possess a high level of understanding of development process and technology.  Must be able to work with multiple teams and personalities to ensure end to end integration of products.
