Technical Support Analyst
One of our clients is seeking a Technical Support Analyst. This individual, as part of a team, will be primarily responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure for the clients Fleet. This includes daily Help Desk support, hardware and software upgrades, network administration, and related projects.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team setting as well as independently. You will be a key contact point for all IT issues relating to the vessels and other support groups and must possess excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills. This role requires the individual to be able to work on-call and after-hours support as required. Travel will be required.
Skills and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, technical diploma, or Microsoft certification
- Experience providing front-line infrastructure support
- Knowledge of Windows client and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of network and server administration
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Experience supporting fishing vessels would be an asset.
