Customer Service Representatives – Group Benefits
Manulife Financial's Group Benefits is a leading provider of employee group benefits for more than 13,000 organizations across Canada. With regional offices across Canada, we offer a range of comprehensive benefit plans including health and dental care, emergency travel assistance, disability, group life insurance, and accidental death coverage.
The Group Benefits Customer Service Centre is looking for Customer Service Representatives who will provide prompt and accurate information to customers requesting information on their Group dental and health benefits. As our ideal candidate, your talent is your ability to communicate effectively with people. This is a full-time opportunity and the ideal candidate must be available to work rotating shifts between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday).
Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve high volumes of inbound telephone and internet inquiries to effectively meet the diverse needs of customers, within established productivity goals and specified turnaround times.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide guidance to users of the Internet site.
- Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, responsiveness and creativity to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalate issues to Management to ensure customer expectations are met when standard procedures are inadequate in meeting specific needs.
Qualifications:
Your exceptional technical capabilities, coupled with your research skills and attention to detail are necessary to succeed in this position. You have a proven ability to multi-task and you are confident in your ability to learn and apply information quickly. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment in a calm and professional manner.
- Previous customer service experience either in person or over the telephone, is preferred.
- Experience in a call center environment is helpful, but not required.
- Knowledge of Group benefits products would also be helpful, but not required.
