Our Client, located in Labrador City, Labrador, has asked us to assist them with their search for a Maintenance Manager.
In this position the ideal applicant will be working with a high level of independence and will be required to make decisions as needed. He / She will be providing direction to all maintenance coordinators / planners in regards to the planning, implementation and improvement of the operation and processes within the maintenance department.
The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate the development of short nod long term maintenance plans, budgets and performance targets for the maintenance department.
Direct the process of determining the equipment needs, selecting and purchasing new equipment and ensuing all systems have existing programs for the training of new employees and continual training of all staff in maintenance dept.
Oversee the administration of company policies and see all members of maintenance dept. follow company policies in regards to work procedures, safety, systems operations and training requirements.
Monitor process indicators and improve process to increase, product quality and efficiency of department.
Promote and encourage a team environment with a high focus on safety, health, and positive employee performance.
Applicants must have exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral.
