Contractual Position Available - Labour Market Planner / Career Counsellor

Looking for a motivated high energy individual able to work independently in a fast paced work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing labour market re-entry plans and transferable skills analysis for injured clients, conducting labour market research, coordinating job search techniques and support, liaising with referral agents to ensure quality and timely assessments, and preparing comprehensive reports according to specific policy and procedures.

Requirements for this position are:

• University Degree in Social Sciences or Vocational Rehabilitation.
• Have certification of RRP (Registered Rehabilitation Professional) or CRC (Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Counselor)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in vocational rehabilitation and career planning specifically with persons with disabilities or injuries or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Strong interviewing, assessment, evaluation and report writing skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of the Workers Compensation System an asset.
• Salary to be negotiated.
