We are currently looking to fill a position of Technical Writer.

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Technical Writer is a professional individual who has the ability to work well independently or in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Position Summary:
Writes technical documents such as procedure manuals, service manuals and operation manuals in clear and concise language.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Materials covered by the manual include installation, operation and maintenance, as well as, pictures and illustrations of equipment.
• Information also includes sketches, specifications, articles and drawings.
• Final material is reviewed in depth for accuracy and precision.
• Apply and utilize problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of product, systems and procedures.
• Perform other duties, as required.

Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience:

• Background in commercial or residential ventilation manufacturing is preferred.
• Extensive familiarity with products or equipment.
• Proficient in computer software applications.
• Must be detailed oriented.  Will proof own work prior to final approvals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English would be an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Location of work could be flexible.
