The Production department at The Victoria Star and La Cataracte newspapers has an opening for a Graphic Artist. This is a full time, temporary position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

- Advertising design according to the customer’s requirements.

- Page layout in collaboration with the editorial team with the

   editorial team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Diploma in graphic arts or a combination of education

   and experience.

- Ability to work using the following application programs:

  QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  Must be familiar with electronic file transmission.

Must be creative, punctual, well organized, detail

oriented and able to work with minimum

supervision in a fast paced environment.
