Bilingual Human Resources Manager

Our client, a technical services company, requires a Human Resources Manager for their call centre location in Edmundston, New Brunswick. This is a full-time permanent position. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overall administration and co-ordination of all HR related activities for specific client groups(s) and their managers.
 
Specific key areas of responsibility include recruitment and selection, Health & Safety (WSIB), compensation and benefits; employee-relations, policies and procedures as well as involvement in HR related projects.
 
You will:

  • Provide functional HR Support to client group(s) with approx 150-250 employees in each group
  • Advise and assist employees with concerns, personal and job related
  • Advise and assist the managers in all HR related activities and issues including recruitment and selection, interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs, succession planning, employee training and development and new employee set-up as well as employee termination and disciplinary processes 
  • Recruitment and selection of applicants (screening, interviewing, testing, reference verification, orientation) 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies and communicate to all employees HR policies  via Employee handbook 
  • Assists the Vice-President, Human Resources in planning, organizing and execution of various HR related meetings/events and works closely with the executive team in various organizational events and initiatives 
  • Plan, organize and execute management as well as employee training sessions as per requirements
  • Update and maintain all applicable reports, personal and job-related records (PANs) pertaining to employee group(s) in the HRIS as well employee files

You need:

  • 2-4 years in an HR Generalist capacity 
  • Fully bilingual French/English 
  • Key experience in recruitment/selection, health & safety and disability  management, management training 
  • Post-Secondary education (diploma or degree) preferably in Human Resources.
