Our client, a commercial property and casualty insurance group who believe in a client first approach, is looking for a Commercial Insurance Sales Representative. Our client is one of the largest commercial brokerages in Atlantic Canada. If you are a high energy individual who is looking to work within a supportive group, this position is for you.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Reaching out to prospective clients to offer services;
- Offering advice and suggestions to prospective and existing clients;
- Retaining and managing existing accounts;
- Study and be acquainted with the different insurance coverages/programs offered
Essential Skills:
- Great interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
- Problem solving, decision making and critical thinking;
- Ability to work well in a team environment;
- Ability to be self directed;
- Basic Computer Skill Set;
- Comfortable making cold calls.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience required;
- Broker's License Class III
- University, College or equivalent;
- An established sales record.
Bilingualism would be an asset, however, is not a requirement.
