Our Client is a reputable and well-respected commercial construction company that provides construction services in the commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. They are currently seeking a highly qualified individual to join their team as Site Superintendent in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the daily site operation of new construction commercial and/or institutional projects. Specific responsibilities will include coordinating trades, ensuring all work on site is performed in a safe manner, liaising with clients, relaying necessary site information to the Project Manager and ensuring the project is being constructed according to the specifications.
The success of any project is significantly dependent upon the superintendent's abilities.
Qualifications include:
• Proven and recent success in a General Contracting environment in a similar role
• Minimum 8 years experience as site superintendent on large commercial projects
• CCA Gold Seal Certification is a definite asset
• Control schedule, safety and day to day site activities
• Conduct and document on site meeting
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Capable of providing site layout, trade, supplier and field coordination
• Proven team building skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent knowledge of building safety codes
• Must have exceptional organization skills, ability to handle multiple task and work within specific deadlines in a fast paced environment
