(1 Permanent Full-Time Position)

Summary of duties:

Be responsible for the delivery of a full range of clinical nutrition services designed to meet the nutritional needs of the outpatient and inpatient clientele. The incumbent will be responsible to assess patient's nutritional needs and provide nutritional intervention according to their needs. The incumbent will have to provide individual or group teaching. He/she will have to complete support work, such as statistics and reports. He/she will be required to work at different facilities of the Health Authority A – zone 5.

Qualifications required:

• Must have a Bachelor Degree in nutrition sciences and completion of an approved dietetic internship program;
• Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians and Dieticians of Canada or must be eligible for membership in both associations;
• Demonstrated leadership ability, human relations skills and self motivation;
• Must meet the language requirements according to the Health Authority's (zone 5) official languages policy;
• Must be able to work independently and also as part of an interdisciplinary team;
• Must demonstrate initiative, excellent planning and organizational skills;
• Good previous work and attendance record.
