(1 permanent full-time position)

Job Summary:

Reporting to the manager of the Psychology Department, the incumbent will work in the Healthy Aging and Wellness Centre, located at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. The person's primary duties will be to conduct neuropsychological assessments of outpatients to determine their level of autonomy and cognitive functions, as part of preventative and curative measures. The successful candidate will also promote healthy lifestyle habits in an effort to reduce the risks and effects of dementia disorders. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the person will provide psychotherapy services and support to outpatients and their family. He or she will also work in collaboration with the other professionals on the team.

Requirements:

• Master of Psychology;  
• Member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick or eligible to become a member;
• Ability to work as a member of a team;
• Spoken and written knowledge of English and French; 
• Interest in working with targeted group and qualifications in this field;  
• Sound knowledge in the fields of neuropsychological evaluation and intervention for the targeted group.
