Accounting/Administrative Clerk

Accounting Clerk
Permanent – Full Time

MindSWEEP offers quality service and innovative IT solutions to a client base mainly comprised of small and medium-sized businesses. We are the ideal solution for marketing on the Web and B2B. We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to manage our day-to-day accounting/bookkeeping needs.

The ideal candidate must have strong bookkeeping experience, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. If you are a responsible, resourceful and independent worker with an interest in joining a dynamic team, we would like to talk to you. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for year-end and month-end processing;
  • Performs tasks and functions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, bank reconciliations, reporting;
  • Responsible for payroll for 5-6 employees;
  • Responsible for correspondence: prepare documents, spreadsheets, including letters and presentations;
  • Handles incoming and outgoing mail, emails, fax and deliveries;
  • Responsible for administrative tasks related to hosting accounts and renewal of domain names;
  • Other general administrative duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent related work experience /and 2-4 years experience;
  • Proficient in both official languages;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Simply Accounting and Excel;
  • General knowledge of the IT industry with basic understanding of terminology;
  • Able to work proficiently with minimal supervision;
  • Highly organized and able to multitask;
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Internet basics).
