Atrinsic is a fast-growing web and mobile content distributor looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join its Moncton development team. This position reports to the Vice President of Technology and works in conjunction with our infrastructure division to oversee company-wide systems and operational initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Act as point of contact between executive and the infrastructure team;
• Participate in system design activities with business users and technical resources;
• Create and update project schedules;
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines;
• Create supporting project documentation;
• Conduct/facilitate team meetings;
• Regular project status updates to executive and development teams;
• Manage team member work assignments;
• Monitor and maximize team member efficiency;
• Provide timely support to other project teams when required;
• Ensure self-adherence and team adherence to organizational policies;
• Ensure 24/7/365 uptime of network infrastructure;
• Maintain development and staging environment providing clear separation between these and production;
• Maintain tight security for internet facing infrastructure;
• Research, design, and implement high level network redundancy and load balancing solutions for our various web properties.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years professional IT experience
• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated project management role in the networking field;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational abilities including the management of multiple priorities and deliverables with overlapping deadlines;
• In-depth understanding of project management principles and best practices;
• Demonstrated experience in internet network architecture, design, implementation and management in a high transaction volume, high bandwidth, high availability environment;
• Experience with high volume ecommerce or large scale content websites;
• Experience managing medium to large technical operations infrastructures
• Solid understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the network administration field including Cisco IOS, VLANs and UNIX/Linux operating systems;
• Expertise in network and computer hardware, including interoperation of routers, switches, firewalls;
• Ability to evaluate performance related issues on Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms and assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution;
• Post-secondary college or university degree.
Optional Qualifications
• Experience with traffic engineering, network modeling and simulation, and performance tuning is highly desirable;
• Experience with firewall implementation/management and network security;
• Cisco certified engineer preferred;
• PMP or equivalent professional certification preferred.
