Job Title/Classification: Registered Nurse / RN02

Job Purpose:

To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory and practice.  To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate nurse – actively registered in New Brunswick, or eligible for such registration.
• Post basic course in Operating Room technique and six (6) months of previous experience in the operating room is preferred.
• Successful completion or willing to complete the Monitor Interpretation Program or equivalent.
• Anaesthesia Learning Module completed within six (6) months.
• Fluency in both official languages with a demonstrated level 2+ or higher in French Oral Proficiency testing would be considered a requirement for certain vacancies.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good previous work records with the ability to attend work on a regular basis.
