Essential Qualifications

• Masters degree in nursing and successful completion of a postgraduate Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.
• Registered as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
• 5 years of nursing experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team member.
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver educational programs.
• Demonstrated competencies in interpersonal relations, clinical decision-making, problem solving and communication.
• Current driver's license and good driving record.
• Good previous work records and must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
• All mandatory certifications must be up to date, including BLS.

Basic Duties

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the provision of primary health care services to manage the needs of individuals, families, groups and communities within his/her scope of practice.
