PowerWright Atlantic Inc. is a Sales and Service company servicing Atlantic Canada. We deal with larger Corporations providing both Products and Service support across Atlantic Canada.
We are seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper who will provide diversified administrative support for our team and our customers, based though out Atlantic Canada. Position will be based in our ( Wholesale / Warehouse) Head Office located in Dartmouth, NS.
Duties will include:
- Payables, Postings to GL, Bank Reconciliation, Gov't remittances and other bookkeeping duties
- Payroll, Vacation, sickness and absenteeism records management
- Contact management software updates as required
- Service Software to manage annual maintenance contracts and billable services.
- Inventory Control as well as Shipping / Receiving control
- General Office / Warehouse light duties as required
- Reception and secretarial support as required
The successful candidate will:
- Have 5 years experience in bookkeeping/office management (preferably with QuickBooks)
- Be proficient in keyboarding and various computer applications including Office products.
- Experience with Contact Management software would be an asset
- Experience with Customer Contract Software would be an asset
- Have good judgement, show initiative, take pride in work and be able to get the job done
- Must be approachable and have a customer service attitude
- Confidentiality is an absolute requirement
