| The Ideal Candidate |
You will have a Bachelor degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university and a minimum 10 years experience managing a testing facility and knowledgeable with ASTM, AASHTO and CCIL test methods. |
| Responsibilities |
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Project Management of multiple Materials projects
• Working on a variety of small to large projects spanning from new construction design, construction review, rehabilitation work and forensic analysis.
• Client management.
• Preparation and review of materials engineering and testing reports.
• Pavement mix design and/or design review as well as pavement designs
• Material condition assessment and development of remedial work and/or rehabilitation work
• Mentoring, coaching and training of less experienced professionals as required.

| Requirements |
• Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Science, Civil
• Professional Engineer in good standing with APEGGA, or the ability to obtain the professional designation.
• Minimum10 years experience managing a testing facility and knowledgeable with ASTM, AASHTO and CCIL test methods
• An individual with an good business acumen.
• A self starter who is innovative and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Direct project experience on Alberta Transportation projects would be considered an asset. |
