We are currently seeking a high caliber Civil QA Specialist to work on a contract. Based in Newfoundland, you will be working for one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction companies.

Job Description:
To meet client commitments and future growth opportunities, we are seeking qualified experienced Civil QA Specialist candidates for field positions located in both Newfoundland and Northern Alberta.

• Performs surveillance of contractors and suppliers to determine their conformance to programmatic, procurement, and design requirements
• Monitors inspection plan implementation and modifies plans, as necessary, to maintain inspection continuity
• Verifies that required inspections, examinations, and tests of systems, subsystems, or components have been performed and results properly documented
• Possesses working knowledge of applicable specifications, procedures, drawings, standards, and codes

Basic Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent project experience
• Typically has at least 8 years of progressive construction and technical experience, preferably in foreman to GF level
