Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Account Manager is accountable for sales and ongoing business development activities in the market in order to attain and exceed assigned Targets within their assigned Territory by maximizing revenue from every sales opportunity.
Some of the key activities are:
•Prospecting, self-sourcing of business opportunities (networking and cold-calling), responding to partner and channel referrals and overall effective management of the sales pipeline to turn sales activities into captured revenue.
•Selling additional services and products to existing clients as appropriate.
•Developing proposals and presentations from templates provided targeted at solving business needs of prospects.
•Negotiating pricing and working collaboratively with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure pricing reflects the achievement of corporate goals
•Utilizing a proactive consultative sales approach, for the appropriate match of products and services to meet identified needs.
•Timely and accurate completion of sales paperwork to ensure a seamless client experience.
•Procurement of all necessary information and documentation for new customer acquisition.
•Timely production and delivery of pipeline and other related Sales Management Information Reports as assigned.
•Staying abreast of current industry trends
•Continuous improving performance skills including sales skills and the identification of potential training opportunities to improve sales and post-sales effectiveness.
Requirements:
•Bilingualism is an asset
•Bachelor's degree preferred, and/or equivalent business experience
•A minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience including Pipeline Management, reporting, strategic prospecting, and consultative selling.
•Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
•Strong business acumen with analytical ability to assess client needs and profitability.
•Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

•Excellent communication skills and networking abilities with internal and external contacts.
