Safety Source is looking for an Account Manager for St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador and surrounding area.

Duties of the position include:

• Ability to self-manage while working from a home office
• Strong time and territory management skills
• Grow and maintain a book of business and relationships
• Actively participate in profile building initiatives by coordinating, attending and exhibiting at select trade shows and conferences
• Maintain competitive edge by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
• Work in partnership with customers to ensure all needs are met/exceeded
• Miscellaneous administrative responsibilities, information requests and special projects as required

The successful candidate must have the following skills and attributes:

• Understanding of the fire and general safety industry
• Ability to multi-task as well as high attention to detail
• Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office programs
• Strong proven sales record
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently
• Valid driver’s license is a must
