Safety Source is looking for an Account Manager for St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador and surrounding area.
Duties of the position include:
- Ability to self-manage while working from a home office
- Strong time and territory management skills
- Grow and maintain a book of business and relationships
- Actively participate in profile building initiatives by coordinating, attending and exhibiting at select trade shows and conferences
- Maintain competitive edge by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
- Work in partnership with customers to ensure all needs are met/exceeded
- Miscellaneous administrative responsibilities, information requests and special projects as required
The successful candidate must have the following skills and attributes:
- Understanding of the fire and general safety industry
- Ability to multi-task as well as high attention to detail
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong proven sales record
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently
- Valid driver’s license is a must
