One of Canada’s leading engineering firms with operations from coast to coast currently requires a Senior Mechanical Technologist to join their team. In this capacity, you will interface with clients and develop mechanical documents for building projects using AutoCAD. To be considered for this staff position you should be able to demonstrate the following:

• A diploma in technology in a relevant mechanical discipline
• 5 to 7 years experience in a comparable role
• Experience layout, design, and drafting of mechanical systems for industrial, commercial and institutional buildings including exposure to heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire protection, and plumbing
• Ability to conduct mechanical audits of existing facilities
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Ability to work with a team of technicians and engineers to develop contract documents and administer projects
