Building Manager/Superintendent Couple

Doric Management is a Halifax based, family-owned, residential property company, with buildings in Clayton Park. We are currently seeking a mature building manager/superintendent couple for two 60 unit buildings in Clayton Park, for a position starting December 1st, 2009.

Responsibilities include:

• Tenant liaison including check in/out, rental calls and inquiries
• Daily cleaning and light maintenance work
• On-site daily supervision
• Seasonal maintenance, including salting, etc.
• Responsible for two 60 unit apartment buildings

Qualifications include:

• Previous experience in a maintenance or customer service role
• Ability to complete small maintenance tasks (i.e. minor plumbing, electrical, or additional repairs)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well independently
• Previous experience as a superintendent is an asset

The position includes a 2 bedroom apartment with 5 appliances. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
