Our Finance & Administration department is looking for a Database Administrator. The department provides support activities to Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and R&D groups within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• In-house expert on the use of the company's SYSPRO enterprise software;
• Administration of database driven web-based software applications;
• Work with the R&D and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient access to data models for reporting and data validation;
• Work closely with Production, Procurement and Sales to ensure smooth flow of production and inventories;
• Manage database, ensuring that all servers are operational (Windows and Linux).

Qualifications:

• Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and server concepts;
• Knowledge of the standards, methods, and techniques of systems analysis as well as data modeling to ensure system solutions meet business requirements;
• Proficiency coding SQL, TSQL, and PL/SQL, PHP, Delphi, C sharp, .Net, C&C++, and Python;
• 1+ years experience with database design and administration, specifically MS SQL Servers.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, and can manage multiple priorities effectively with minimal supervision. Oral and written communication skills are important to this position, as are planning, organization, problem solving, creative thinking and teamwork.
