Description:
Holiday Media & Specialty Publications in Halifax, NS is seeking a motivated sales person to join their team as Account Manager. Primarily, the successful candidate will manage and build a portfolio of advertising accounts and achieve assigned sales budgets for the Holiday Media business to business publications.
More precisely, assume the following responsibilities:
- Conduct sales calls to existing and potential clients to maximize revenues and market share for assigned publications and projects.
- Prospect, build and present written sales proposals to existing and potential customers
- Complete administrative reporting including sales plans and forecasts, time management programs and competitive updates
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have the ability to develop long-term effective advertising solutions for established and new customers of the Transcontinental Specialty Publications/Holiday Media Division.
- Proven sales or marketing track record with superior prospecting and closing skills, along with related training or education.
- A talent for strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial edge and aptitude to identify and develop new opportunities in a competitive marketplace.
- Effective communications and presentation skills, one-on-one or in a group setting.
- An energetic team player with a positive attitude towards perpetual change.
