Our client is a leading food producer with processing plants in Canada and the US and a customer base which spans the globe. We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function within their Prince Edward Island operation.
As an integral part of the plant management team the HR Manager will lead a team of four (4) and will direct all human resource related activities in support of over 700 employees.
This role will require a strong focus on employee relations and communications as well as the coaching and development of the operations leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education with an emphasis on HR or equivalent experience
- A minimum of five (5) years experience as a human resource professional
- Prior experience in leading a team of human resource professionals is preferred
- A CHRP designation is considered an asset, as is prior experience in an a manufacturing environment
