Senior Web Developer

Our client needs a Senior Web Developer with leadership experience to take on a challenging role with their company named "Branham 300, Top 25 Up and Coming Technology Firms in Canada" and Chamber of Commerce "Business Excellence" award winner for 2007.

This position is based on beautiful Prince Edward Island where you can enjoy the island's famous friendly and relaxed lifestyle. The competitive salary and benefits will put you in the area's top 10% of earners.

If you are unable to move to the Island, it may be possible for you to work in this position remotely.

You must have over 5 years experience in a Senior Developer or Programmer role in a professional web development firm and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on the go at once.

Other qualifications you have should include:
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or related course
- Experience being involved in the entire development process, from estimating time on custom applications to testing and deploying a final product
- Strong technical skills, specifically HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL
- Experience developing PHP and ColdFusion applications for high volume websites and some Visual Basic knowledge required.
