Rockwood Transportation, a division of the J & S Group, is a construction and trucking company based in Rexton, New Brunswick. The Group has 25 years of experience. The Company has a significant sized fleet of heavy equipment engaged in a variety of projects including highways, open pit mining, municipal piping, shoreline protection and large clearing projects. The Group also has a significant forestry division which provides heavy equipment services to the forest products industry. The Group operates its own maintenance facility.

Rockwood is currently seeking a Project Manager for its growing construction division.

Qualifications

• Engineer, certified engineering technologist or experienced construction manager
• 5 - 10 years work experience
• Computer skills in M/S software

Responsibilities

• Estimating and pricing various civil projects/tenders for both private and public sector customers
• Review and evaluate tenders, specifications and contracts
• Manage projects within budget
• Supervise operations personnel
• Coordinate projects with customers,suppliers and subcontractors
