The Restigouche Health Authority is a multi-facility health care organization providing inpatient, outpatient and community based services in the Restigouche region of New Brunswick. The Health Authority is presently accepting applications for the following position:
Psychologist(PC-1)
(Community Health Centre)
Under the supervision of the program manager, the successful candidate's primary duty will be to provide a variety of psychological services to adult clients in the Short-Term Program. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will take part in individual, and group assessment, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and counselling. Duties may include supervision of psychometricians as well as developing psychological programs.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in clinical psychology;
- Be a member in good standing or eligible to become a member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick;
- Team work skills;
- Communication skills;
- Must meet the language requirements according to the Health Authority's official languages policy.
- Demonstrated interest and skills in working with clients to be served;
- Work experience with target clients would be an asset;
- Good knowledge of assessment and treatment of target clients.
