The Restigouche Health Authority is a multi-facility health care organization providing inpatient, outpatient and community based services in the Restigouche region of New Brunswick. The Health Authority is presently accepting applications for the following position:

Speech-Language Pathologist

Under the supervision of the Region Communication Disorders / Audiology Manager, the incumbent will provide quality professional services mainly to English-speaking outpatients and preschool clients and will also serve inpatients as required. He/she will perform related administrative duties. He/she will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and take part in developing and implementing new programs according to needs.

Qualifications:

• Have a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology;
• Be a member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists or eligible for same;
• Must meet the language requirements according to the Health Authority’s official languages policy.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently;
• Have current CPR certification or willing to obtain it;
• Demonstrate good organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Be physically capable of performing the duties required by the position.
