River Valley Health is a multi-facility health care organization providing services in west-central New Brunswick, encompassing the province’s capital city, Fredericton, and numerous towns, villages and rural communities. 

We require a full-time, fee-for-service Emergency Room Physician for the Oromocto Public Hospital.  The Oromocto Public Hospital provides primary and secondary inpatient and outpatient care, and has an active day-surgery program and breast-screening centre.

Certification in emergency medicine (EM) is desired, however candidates with EM experience will be considered providing EM certification is attained within 5 years.  Current ACLS and ATLS are required. 

Oromocto, “Canada’s Model Town”, is home to Canadian Forces Base Gagetown and is approximately 15 minutes from Fredericton.
