Blue Note Caribou Mines Inc. has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support the operation at Caribou Mine site. 

Working under the mentorship and direction of the Controller, the Financial Analyst will demonstrate a strong work ethic, high quality work and a passion for continuous learning.

Key responsibilities:

• Generate monthly financial statements;
• Complete variance analysis;
• Reconcile general ledger trial balance accounts and sub-ledgers monthly;
• Support the development of  year end external audit;
• Assist in Budget preparation and various management reports.

The successful Candidate will possess the following:

• 3-5 years relevant industrial experience with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Bachelor in Commerce with a completed CMA/CGA or within 12 months of completion;
• A hands-on and proactive approach;
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to deal effectively & efficiently with operations management;
• Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Preferably bilingual : French and English;
• Working knowledge of PC based application ( Microsoft Office)
• Working knowledge of AccPac would be helpful.
