Blue Note Caribou Mines Inc. is located approximately 45km outside the scenic community of Bathurst, New Brunswick, situated on the beautiful Bay of Chaleur.  Blue Note has an immediate opportunity for a Metallurgical Superintendent to enhance the metallurgical recoveries at Blue Note Caribou Mines.

The Metallurgical Superintendent will become the resident expert for all aspects of blending, crushing milling and concentrating of ores produced at Blue Note’s Caribou mines. As the resident expert, you will be responsible for identifying and leading all engineering projects to enhance and optimize systems and processes maximizing ore recoveries. This leadership role reports to the Mill Manager providing consultative advice through a small technical team and will provide operational direction in the Mill Managers absence.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in metallurgy, combined with 10 years of progressively more responsible experience in the milling and concentration of fine particle base metal ores. You will be a technical leader challenging your team to find ways to enhance our milling and concentrating operations while developing your skills in the direction of operations management.
