Extra-Mural Program - Bathurst
Job Summary:
The incumbent will provide rehabilitative services, within the scope of professional practice of speech language pathology, to clients of the Bathurst Extra-Mural Program. As part of the Community Rehabilitation Pool, he/she will provide services to children, adults, and seniors, in a variety of settings.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology;
- Registered member of the New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists and eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists also preferred;
- Current CPR training or willingness to obtain certification;
- Knowledge of French essential; knowledge of English considered an asset.
- assessing client needs and developing clinical intervention plans;
- providing clinical speech-language therapy intervention, including treatment, education and consultation, in the client's home, school or other community settings;
- establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and other service providers to facilitate effective communication; and
- establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and contributing to the overall efforts of an interdisciplinary team.
