Qualifications:
- A college/university diploma, degree or certificate in business administration (accounting) or finance
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills in MS Outlook and Excel
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to interact effectively with employees, management, suppliers and legal/government agencies
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to take initiative when necessary.
- Candidate must be able to work independently and as a team player
Position Summary
- Invoicing, posting bills/expense, cash flow management
- AR/AP, GL, payroll
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
- Bank reconciliations, deposits, tax reporting/payment
- Overall financial management – i.e. adjusting entries, reporting, cost control
- Provide organizational and secretarial support to the President
- Organize and maintain filing system
