CAD Operator / Designer

Metaltech Ltd, a custom metal fabrication shop in Dieppe New Brunswick, is looking for a candidate to fill the role of CAD Operator / Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading plans and producing material takeoffs
• Designing custom products for the steel fabrication sector
• Designing custom products in sheet metal
• Designing jigs to aid manufacturing
• Working with customers

The ideal candidate is a mechanical engineer or mechanical technologist/technician with experience in fabricated steel and sheet metal products.  Candidates with experience in Solidworks will be given preference.

Salary is very competitive and dependant on qualifications.
