We are currently seeking applicants for the following position located in Dieppe, New Brunswick:
Network Technician
The Network Technician will act as a member of a team to support the Level II desk side support requirements of our customers. This individual must demonstrate a strong background in supporting a broad variety of issues. The successful candidate will have strong skills in providing technical support both onsite and remotely over the phone. Candidates should demonstrate completion of A+ and MCDST or MCSE or equivalent certifications and/or training. An equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of these certifications.
Resumes should include specific demonstration of the following skills:
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with leading manufacturer products including pc's, laptops, servers, printers and point of sales equipment
- Strong diagnostic, analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
- Experience providing a high level of remote technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and PC configuration
- Ability to work well individually and with a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
- A history of excellent customer service
- Available to periodically work shifts that include weekends and occasional overtime as part of an on call rotation
- Educational background in a relevant technical area
- Any other supporting certifications such as HDI or Nortel
