Director, Fresh Category Management

This position is responsible for ensuring proper category management, procurement and sales of Fresh related products to co-op stores in the Atlantic Provinces and Quebec.  Fresh categories are identified as being; produce, fresh meat, deli, fish and seafood and bakery products. The incumbent will ensure wholesale and retail objectives are compatible so that the objectives of both can be met.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the retail food industry as well as knowledge and experience with wholesale distribution.  Previous managerial or supervisory experience is necessary along with demonstrated leadership abilities.  Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are essential as well as good written and verbal communication skills.  Bilingualism is a must.
