Electrical and Refrigeration Services Ltd. is a Moncton based company, division of Carmichael Engineering Ltd. We consistently deliver quality preventive maintenance programs, design, construction and fabrication services for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration systems. We supply, install and service electrical systems, commercial food equipment, industrial refrigeration for commercial and industrial application. We are seeking for an experienced:
Service Estimator
The responsibilities of the estimator is to evaluate the costs of material, labour and parts necessary to conclude service work. Fulfill service deliveries according to estimates and specifications for services on repairs done on electrical systems, air-conditioning, refrigeration, heating units for industrial and commercial customers. The principles tasks and responsibilities are:

To conduct a complete analysis of the construction / service and maintenance in term of profitability.

Write and assemble quotations.

Assist the technicians / sales representatives in making estimates.

Negotiate with our suppliers and subcontractors.

Search for parts and get prices from suppliers.
-
Communicate quotations to our customers.
-
Follow-up with our customers to obtain the approbation to perform work

Orders parts from suppliers.
Qualifications

College degree, diploma in mechanics of building.

More than 5 years experience in a similar role preferably in a service industry or construction.

Must have a good knowledge of the Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning industry.

Must be autonomous, pro-active, self motivated and well organized.

Must have a high sense of urgency.

Good analytical skills.

Must be able to influence others.

Excellent oral and written skills.

Excellent interpersonal communication.

Computer literate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
