Sales Representative - Maritimes
Location: Moncton

Reporting to the sales manager, the sales representative is responsible for an assigned territory to implement the Company's sales and distribution strategy, maintain established distribution networks, full client relations, organize sales and products seminars. Focus on delivering the sales and profit objectives.
 
Description

  • Implement the sales and distribution strategy defined by the company.
  • Identify and approach potential clients
  • Increase sales levels while maintaining adequate pricing levels.
  • Assist new clients complete the required steps to open their account and deliveries.
  • Establish the needs of the clients, assist them in selecting the appropriate products
  • Negotiate and confirm pricing structure with clients.
  • Train clients on our computerized quotation system, competitive advantages as well as the unique features of our products.
  • With distributors, organize training seminars for their specific product specialists to help them know our products better and be better prepared to sell effectively to their own clientele.
  • Supply distributors with the necessary promotional material, brochures, displays, updated computerized quoting system, provide product and market expertise.
  • Organize and participate in sales promotion events trade shows etc….
  • Help clients in their evaluation of major bids, meet with architects and builders.
  • With distributors, install and update our computerized quoting systems, provide ongoing training on the system, identify and solve repetitive ordering errors by our clients.
  • Report weekly on visits to established and new distributors and highlight issues, concerns, success stories etc.

Requirements

  • Professional sales background – with proven ability to build a territory
  • 3+ years experience in traveling in a large geographical area
  • Experience in commercial, construction, industrial sales environments
  • Ability to identify competitors in the territory, map their strengths and weaknesses
  • Experienced with annual sales budgets by client and by period.
  • Excellent communication & Negotiation skills
  • Bilingual
