Human Resources Representative
Master Packaging Inc.
Location: Moncton

Master Packaging Inc. the leader of corrugate and folding carton packaging located in Dieppe, New Brunswick is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Human Resources Representative.

Responsibilities: 

As a member of a highly energetic and goal oriented team, and reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be mainly responsible for the following:

  • Deliver full recruitment services including, needs analysis, job postings, screening, interviewing, reference verification and employment offers.
  • Maintain human resources, training records and manual filing system.
  • Identify and initiate human resources process improvements while working with other internal resources to ensure successful implementation of approved changes.
  • Assist with the identification of training needs, selection and development of appropriate programs.
  • Provides guidance and support to company managers on HR principles, practices and procedures.
  • Identify employee relations concerns and take appropriate action to address and resolve issues.
  • Provide input and assist in the development and formulation of HR practices, policies and procedures that will increase employee satisfaction and commitment levels.
  • Administer and explain benefits to employees and serve as liaison between employees and benefits carriers.
  • Assist in the day-to-day activities of the human resources department.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Three to Five years experience in a generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • University degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of employment labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, coaching and presentation skills,
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision along with the ability to work with all levels of management,
  • Proven ability to successfully manage organizational change, creative forward thinker.
  • Proficient in computing skills
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • CHRP designation will be considered an asset
