Our client is a well established Moncton-based provider of third party warehousing and transportation services.
 
Reporting to the group General Manager, the Operations Manager has direct responsibility for all operations of the division. This position is charged with maintaining maximum financial and operational efficiency, incorporating continuous improvement into every department, 100% customer satisfaction and superb inventory control.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with the following:

• Hiring, training and performance of all personnel
• Adjust staffing levels based upon current needs
• Produce monthly performance reports
• Conduct and administer company safety program ensuring safe work practices
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive review and communications
• Maintain compliance with all contractual KPIs and order accuracy
• Operate in a manner to meet all budgeted objectives
• Work closely with senior management on all Human Resources issues
• Identify and act upon improvements in all aspects of company operations
• Manage company transportation operation
• Oversee facility, truck yard and property to assure security

Job requirement:

• Bachelors degree preferred (equivalent experience could also be considered)
• 6-10 years distribution experience in a managerial role (including exposure to sales/customer service as well as operations)
• Bottom line orientation
• Hands-on attitude
