Dillon Consulting Limited is a well established, employee-owned, professional consulting firm which operates across Canada and internationally. We provide a wide range of consulting and design services related to the infrastructure, real estate, resource, industrial and government sectors in Canada and abroad. We are currently seeking candidates for a 12 month maternity leave replacement for the position of Administrative Assistant/Word Processor in our Halifax Office.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day word processing for various documents including large and small reports and proposals, memos, letters, and specifications
- Assistance with filing and report production and other administrative duties as required
- Reception relief duties for the office including use of a multi-line telephone system, client interaction, courier requests, and incoming and outgoing mail
- Contribution to an office work environment that is productive and promotes employee satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Three to five years' word processing and office administration experience.
- Good proficiency with current office productivity software is required including Microsoft Office; advanced Word formatting skills will be preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communications, organizational and time management skills.
- Community college education will be considered an asset.
