Moosehead Breweries Limited has immediate openings for
Project Engineers and Project Managers
The Project Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for ongoing improvement projects, equipment installation and the initiation of manufacturing process modifications throughout the company.
Duties:
- Act as a technical resource to address existing issues, operational challenges and provide project services throughout the company.
- Manage contractors and internal trades personnel, acting as a back-up Maintenance Manager, Chief Operating Engineer and/or Instrumentation Supervisor when necessary.
- Work with consulting engineers on design, costs and ROI justifications.
- Co-ordinate equipment installation and commissioning to minimize impact on operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an Engineering Degree or Diploma from a Technical Institute or Community College, and have the following skills and experience:
- Three-to-five years of Project Management or Engineering experience in the Food/Beverage industry.
- Hands-on experience with high-volume production processes.
- Familiarity with facility systems, PLC’s and PLC programming.
- Excellent communication (oral & written), interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills.
