Loans Officer

The successful candidate will possess/demonstrate the following:

• Responsibility for providing loans and mortgages to our current and potential members
• Recent experience managing and controlling a mortgage, loan, credit or collections portfolio
• Recognize member needs as well as promote and offer applicable lending and deposit services of the credit union
• Ensure all lending activities are in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and policies
• Follow up on delinquent accounts using established collection policies
• Maintain a high profile and professional image in business and social communities

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous lending experience in a financial institution.  They will also demonstrate a high level of customer service orientation and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Obtaining an up to date clearance letter from the Police/RCMP, credit check and eligibility to be bonded are conditions of employment for all employees.
