of non-alcoholic beverages is presently looking for an:

Business Development Representative

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales volume and gross profit in the Halifax market area.  This will be accomplished through the development of sales proposals and initiatives with current customers and prospective new customers, in order to secure business growth in the sales territory.

You will be accountable for the successful presentation of corporate and locally developed programs to current and potential customers to secure business growth in the market; as well as maximize business potential through problem solving while ensuring that logistic and selling challenges are met. The successful candidate will also provide support and leadership to the local team members by assisting in problem resolution to secure customer satisfaction in stores.

You will utilize prospecting tools to generate new leads and build customer relationships through superior customer service and fact based selling. Effective  planning  and communication of Coca Cola initiatives and marketing programs to your customer base will be critical while also keeping management informed of trade relation opportunities, challenges and competitive marketing activity. 

As an ideal candidate, you have 3-5 years proven successful selling experience, preferably in a food or beverage industry, consumer products and/or direct store delivery sales. You are able to independently create and conduct sales presentations through your proficient computer application skills and strong communication skills.  You have the ability/interest in becoming involved with the community and are familiar with the key stakeholders and decision makers. You have the ability to research customer and sales information in order to utilize this information for value added customer presentations.  Familiarity with direct to store or wholesale distribution selling systems would be an asset. You have a valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.  College Diploma or University Degree is preferred.
