Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Health Services Director, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the Dartmouth General Hospital on evenings, weekends, and holidays, and is accountable to ensure the delivery of the highest standard of patient care as well as a safe, efficient working environment for staff. Acts as a resource for nursing personnel, other health care professionals and support staff in liaison with departmental managers and senior management.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Nursing is required
* Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia
* Two years of progressive administrative nursing experience or related experience; five years experience is preferred
* Management/administrative experience is preferred
* Certification in Health Administration preferred
* Demonstrates organizational skills and competence in leadership, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and motivation
* Ability to interpret and execute administrative directives in order to act as the administrative representative while working independently as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Current BCLS certification

Hours of Work:
Casual relief position
Shifts include evenings, 1500-2300, Monday to Friday, and weekends/holidays 0730-1930

Salary: Administrative Coordinator:
$32.8637 - 41.0795 hourly
