Our client, a successfully run, well established precision custom machining company located in Pictou County, Nova Scotia is looking for a Conventional Machine Shop Supervisor to join their busy team on the day shift.
As a motivator, team leader and team player, you have the drawing and machining knowledge to lead and direct approximately 15 employees in all machine tool manufacturing and service operations undertaken by the company in accordance with: workload scheduling, project planning, working within quality standards, customer service, continuous efficiency, process improvement, equipment and tool care and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 15 years of experience as a conventional machinist and is company-oriented, highly motivated, well organized and has the ability to function in a continuously changing prioritized challenging environment.
