Location: A major centre in the Maritimes.

Our client, a large organization with an international presence, is looking for an ambitious, results-oriented leader to become a key member of its corporate management team. This is a position of primary importance working for an organization with multiple companies in diverse industry sectors such as transportation, industrial manufacturing, retail, resource-based manufacturing and more.

In this role you will have an astute understanding of the corporate treasury function including foreign exchange and interest rate hedging, income tax, credit, internal audit, financial statements, financial and other corporate reporting.  Working with a small team you will be responsible for making crucial decisions that will set the course for the entire organization. You will be responsible for maintaining solid banking relationships.

Confident and enthusiastic, you are an excellent communicator who knows how to motivate employees.  You are able to clearly articulate ideas and are comfortable interacting with all levels of management.

To succeed in this high-level position you must have a professional accounting designation as well as 10+ years of experience. Strong analytical and communications skills are essential and financial acumen is a must.
